Summerfields in Margaretville

Initial impression was not that good. No staff even acknowledged we walked in and then rudely told us just to sit anywhere. Once we got to the patio there was a gentlemen being allowed to smoke at his table. The waitresses seemed more interested is arguing over who’s table it was then taking our order. The steak tacos on taco Tuesday was made from dry London broil on a stale taco shell. If you want to smell cigarettes, have terrible service and terrible food, come here.

The pecial was fantastic. Surf turf was delicious and portions were large. The atmosphere was nice with wood burning stove. I definitely recommend this place.

Our waitress Diana was unbelievable. She took care of the whole place this past Saturday night. She was hustling like crazy.Thanks Diana. Food was good too. We'll be coming back for sure.

Stopped in for steamers and calamari one week day on a motorcycle ride. Enjoyed​ the atmosphere, food and cold beverages. I will stop again.

"Best steakhouse in the Catskills" didn't have a steak on the menu. Missing ingredients on every item ordered. Good was ok, but nothing that makes me want to go back. The fact that allegedly a cook not showing up meant no food was served last week just adds to the no thanks

Good food and cold drinks....

The food here is exceptional and it's a good value. We had the seafood pot has an appetizer and it was huge for only $15. The salad and soup was very good. We also had the combination steak ribs chicken and that was cooked to perfection. I will definitely come back here.

We walked out after being ignored. Bartender and waitress seemed to be more interested in talking to each other than waiting on us. Never got asked if we wanted drinks or told what the specials were.

The seafood bowl is especially good. I had the combination plate and everything was perfect. Can't wait to bring family and friends to share the experience I had.

Despite what some visiting folks might say about this place I myself frequent the Area with work and for recreation from time to time Been there for a drink and some food 3 times in the past 8 months Each time was a disaster to say the least Will definitely never be wasting my or any of my Clients time with this establishment ever again If you want pizza in Margretville go visit SamAt Pizza La NostraHis food and service can’t be beat Forget Summerfields exists peopleJust my opinion folks !!!

I've been here three times in 2 years, food is general bar stuff. Generic but solid, gf really likes the burgers. Lots of booze options, fair prices. Service is good.However that sign says the AC is on and it definitely is not.

Good food at a decent price.i usually go for the wings because we are in town on a weds crisp cooked perfectly..burgers are cooked just as you order.the cook comes out talks with us hes a good character also.the restaurant is decently clean and has a nice large bar with plenty of drinks available. It has a country cabin feel to it with the wood stove.give the place a try. they recently changed their hours and menu so call first to make sure they're open

We ate dinner the day after labor day. They were the only bar-restaurant open. Being open was a big plus. It was tacoTuesday, $1.50 for chicken or steak and $3.00 for shrimp or vegetable. The tacos were good and fresh, but came with sour cream & salsa, but no guacamole. The downside is the venue is dusty, dirty & dark.

Nice atmosphere. Very much a local bar experience. Food is good but a bit pricey.

I have never given a bad review and have never complained about food but wow!!! Soup can out ice cold and absolutely disgusting!! Servicesis horrible, I was completely ignored the waitress "Rosie" wouldn't even look my way. I couldn't get another drink and i couldn't get the bill!!! I almost walked out without paying.... by far the worst place I've ever been to in my life

It was an enjoyed haunt for a time, and has a good atmosphere. The wait staff has always been kind.On several occasions, we've been served food that hasn't been fresh. Once we received a tuna tartar with blatantly rotting avocado. The waitress was apologetic but the management made no apology.We liked the restaurant enough to buy digital coupons, but management ended up refusing them twice. On one occassion, regulars made racist comments and anti-immigration comments to a Hispanic colleague of mine. Minorities beware. 😡We have never gotten sick from the food, but the unsavory variables have inspired us to dine elsewhere.

Steaks are great. We went in for wing day and go figure we could not get any. Very disappointing. We traveled over an hour to meet a client and this was the only nice looking spot around and was waiting for a few dozen wings... Lol... So ordered a NY strip that was great and some steamers... Yet again to my disappointment I feel like every where else is either 12 or 13 and I got 7 or 8....no bang for the buck. So if you visit order the steak.....

Chef ate all the wings that were supposed to be on special. Steak was mediocre at best. Any restaurant I ordered steamers from is usually a dozen or bakers dozen for 14 bucks to get 9 I'm better off going to the store and steaming on the motor of my truck... Smh..

Very nice atmosphere. Ordered a breaded buffalo chicken panini and got the smallest piece of grilled chicken on toasted bread (not panini). Drinks were good.

The waitress was a bag of mistakes, but when the food finally came it was amazing! Everything was fresh and delicious! Yum yum.
